I've just finished version 4.0 of the Windows95 FAQ (50+ questions).
My newsreaders does not seem to have the capability to post the FAQ
to the relevant newsgroups -- originally it was around 32k and now closer
to 75K (and growing). Since posting my last pointer on May 26, I have received
over 400 request with 1/4 of these request from 33 countries.
Now that windows95 is about to make its formal debut (August 24),
I would like to know about the availablity of a "public" ftp site since
I cannot forsee continuing to email request to those without WWW
capabilities.
The FAQ is available both in ASCII format and HTML format at
http://walden.mo.net/~rymabry/index.html and the HTML format
is mirrored at http://www.primenet.com/~markd/win95faq.html.
Subscribers to the Win95-L mailing list can also download a copy of
either version from the listserv.
I would appreciate any help in locating a ftp site for this faq.
I would also appreciate any help on how to post such a large file
(now in 4 parts) to ms-windows newsgroups.
Thank you
