I think there has been one good point made which is that it would be
nice to have FAQ references to FTP sites (or other) in a standard
format amenable to conversion to WWW (or whatever) format for ease-of-use
to users in those forums. I'm not familiar with WWW, HTML and the
rest, but we're talking about embedding something in the document which
would allow you to jump directly to the ftp site, correct? If so,
that seems worthwhile. However, the format for the FAQ file i think must
be chosen to be both machine and human readible. I didn't particularly
like the multiple-line format which was presented. And right now i don't
see much of a purpose to having the rest of the FAQs conform to a standard.
