* The Soviet-Russian Mil helicopter design bureau is well known for their series of prominent transport helicopters, and has developed a line of attack helicopters. The best known of these Mil attack helicopters is the Mi-24 "Hind", which became a symbol of Soviet and Russian military power. It has been followed by the more sophisticated Mi-28 "Havoc", which has yet to see service. This document provides a history of the Hind and Havoc.
