ISO Setting

The lowest ISO setting creates the finest grain detail. ISO speed represents the imaging sensor’s sensitivity to light. The lower the ISO the finer the grain or greater detail in the shot. The larger the ISO the grainier the image. More light is needed to properly expose the lower ISO settings. Hence a slower shutter speed is needed when shooting at the low ISO setting. This calls for the essentials listed above as 5, 6, and 7.

The lowest ISO setting on my SLR camera is the 100 setting. So I preset my camera on this 100 ISO setting. But my point and shoot camera offers a 50 ISO setting.
