I have a 3 month old ShihTzu who frequently after being removed from her crate in the morning will vomit clear, foamy saliva.  She falls over after vomiting, will get up and be very lethargic.  She does not want to eat or drink water which tells me upset stomach.  We feed her a very high quality dry food with a little warm water.  A relative told us to leave the food out no more than 20 minutes as the water and food spoil or can cause a dog to get sick.  Does dry food spoil when out for more than 20 minutes? We noticed this tummy ache last about 8 to 10 hours then she is back to normal.  Any advise or others experiencing this behavior would greatly help.
