    There is a hardcoded limit of 20 filenames (BLOCK_FILES_FROM_STDIN) 
    in ir/waisindex.c which is not even checked for overruns (shudder). 
    Either increase that value or use the patch01 for freeWAIS-sf-1.1 
    wich allows for an arbitrary number of filenames:
