  After copying this file to your home directory, you need to remove
  all references to "xsession". References to xsession cause the system
  to try to execute $HOME/.xsession, which will create an infinite
  loop.

  Remove the lines in ~/.xsession that say:

  if [ -r $xsession -a "$0" != $xsession ]; then
         if [ -x $xsession ]; then
  	       exec $xsession
         else
  	       exec /bin/sh $xsession
         fi
  fi
