  the Z-Code popper, in ftp://ftp.ncd.com/pub/z-code/supported/z-pop/,
  or imapd (which supports pop2 and pop3) in
  ftp://ftp.cac.washington.edu/mail/. Some info is at

  note, some ports of poppassd (a POP password changing daemon) to IRIX
