It is also available from a list server. Send email to <listserv@cunyvm.cuny.edu> with the line SEND FERRET DATABASE in the body. Note that the file is rather long, which may give some mailers problems. The American Ferret Association (AFA) also maintains a list of shelters, at <http://www.ferret.org/afashltr.htm>, and a local ferret club may know about one not on either of the lists.
